Participant guide · Istanbul 2026

Prepare your participation

Exhibition: 4–6 November 2026, 10:00–18:00, Yenikapı Expo Center. Economic mission: 9–13 November, depending on your package.

This guide is for all participants. Services vary by selected package: only your accepted financial offer and signed agreement determine inclusions, deadlines and commitments.

1. Your journey

  1. Expression of interest

State your organisation, needs and intended format: exhibiting, professional visit or economic mission.

  2. Preparation meeting

We clarify your objectives, constraints and partnership opportunities.

  3. Offer and agreement

Services, price, delegates, deadlines and responsibilities are set out in your personalised file.

  4. Signature and invoice

After both parties sign, BOI issues the invoice. Confirmation follows the payment and approvals required by your agreement.

  5. Preparation

Supply names, materials, projects, meeting needs and travel details. Begin visa procedures and bookings.

  6. Participation

The programme and agreed services are coordinated with you according to your selected package.

  7. Follow-up

Contacts, next actions and deliverables are followed up as agreed.

2. Visa: choose the right route

Ordinary passports from the five countries below require a visa. The route depends on nationality, passport, residence and purpose. Check any eligibility on evisa.gov.tr; otherwise use the consular route. Official passports: verify specific exemptions.

Obtain the checklist and appointment from the centre/consulate; prepare passport, form, photos, invitation, professional and financial evidence, reservations and medical insurance. Check passport validity, fees and processing time. BOI supports contracted participation documents; only authorities decide visas and admission.

Authorities recommend applying at least one month before departure. For November 2026, check feasibility and processing times with the centre immediately.

Cameroon Voya Visa, Yaoundé

Voya Visa, Yaoundé: confirm the fair/business category and appointment. The business checklist mentions an original Turkish invitation, banking evidence and a minimum personal balance of XAF 3,000,000; confirm requirements for your profile.

Benin VFS Global, Cotonou

VFS Global, Cotonou, as listed by the Embassy since January 2026: check the category, checklist, fees and submission arrangements on the Benin → Türkiye portal.

Kenya Consular route, Nairobi

Pre-apply at visa.gov.tr if not eligible for an e-Visa. Confirm the current route, appointment and submission location with the Nairobi Embassy.

Nigeria Sefa Visa, Abuja or Lagos

Sefa Visa, Abuja or Lagos. The Embassy confirms Lagos opened in June 2026. Obtain the business/fair checklist and centre instructions before attending.

Côte d’Ivoire Sefa Visa, Abidjan

Sefa Visa, Abidjan: check the category, submit documents in person for biometrics, then track the application and collect the passport when notified.

3. Prepare your trip

Arrival by 3 November · materials by 27 October

Arrive in Istanbul by 3 November 2026 where possible, before the exhibition opens. Exhibitors: check the counter, signage and materials with BOI, subject to setup-access times and authorisation. Visitors: check badges and meetings. Supply flights, airport (IST or SAW), hotel and timings in advance.

Send materials as early as possible, by 27 October: high-resolution logo, English profile, projects, delegate names and roles, and any presentation needs. Earlier Europort or supplier deadlines still apply. If arriving after 3 November, agree on remote checks.

Transport: as agreed

Check your agreement for included transfers and transport. Where provided, BOI coordinates airport–hotel welcome and collective transfers, hotel–exhibition shuttles on 4–6 November and mission-programme travel on 9–13 November. The served hotel, meeting points and timings are confirmed with the relevant participants. Private or off-programme travel is not automatically included: a quotation and written approval may be required.

Check costs payable by you: flights, hotel, meals, insurance, visas, unlisted transport and personal expenses. Booking or application assistance does not mean BOI pays the charges. Only expressly agreed services are included.

Accommodation

Book a flexible or cancellable option and check terms. Europort links to HotelMap; no fixed partner list was published on the reviewed page. The three hotels below are BOI options without confirmed negotiated rates. For exhibition + mission, arrival on 3 November and departure on the 14th may suit; confirm nights and arrangements for 7–8 November with BOI.
